DIAMOND Fusion Box: Modular System for Demanding Networks

The DIAMOND Fusion Box is a rigid 1U splice box for fixed installations — designed for applications where maximum port density matters more than regular service access. Nine variants combine E-2000® Simplex (SX) and CompactRJ (Duplex), with or without factory-terminated pigtails.

What the Fusion Box Is Designed For

Set-and-forget installation, high port density, off-site splicing with pre-terminated pigtails. When the rack is built once and not touched for years, the Fusion Box is the cost-optimised alternative to the sliding Future Box.

The Nine Variants in Brief

• 3 connector options: E-2000® SX (Simplex), E-2000® CompactRJ (Duplex), mixed configurations
• 3 fit-out states: empty (customer terminates), partially populated, fully populated with factory-terminated pigtails

All variants use DIAMOND E-2000® couplings with Active Core Alignment technology — typical insertion loss ≤ 0.1 dB.

Quality Assurance

Every shipped pigtail is individually measured (tilt angle ≤ 0.4°, concentricity ≤ 0.25 μm, interferometric end face inspection). Test certificate via QR code or shop.diamond.de.

Since the DIAMOND press release of 27.04.2026, Fiber Products is the central supplier for the 19″ enclosure technology in the DACH region. We supply all nine Fusion Box variants plus F4P-built alternatives with custom configurations and 5-year warranty.
