DIAMOND Splice Boxes & Splice Modules

Six product families covering the complete spectrum of professional fibre optic splice management — from rigid 1U Fusion Boxes for fixed installations through extendable Future Boxes for service-oriented racks to compact wall distribution modules on DIN rail. All built around the DIAMOND E-2000® CompactRJ connector system, all measured to 100% before shipment.

Since the DIAMOND press release of 27 April 2026, Fiber Products GmbH is the central supplier for the 19″ enclosure technology. DIAMOND has discontinued in-house production of these form factors but retains the entire connector and component range in its own manufacturing in Losone, Switzerland.

The Six DIAMOND Splice-Box Families

Each family answers a different installation challenge. The choice depends on fibre count, mounting environment, and whether you need fixed or service-friendly access.

Family Form Factor Typical Use Detail Page
Fusion Box Rigid 1U rack Fixed cabling, low-maintenance installations, high port density View Fusion Box →
Future Box Sliding 1U / 2U rack Service-friendly racks, frequent maintenance, regulated environments View Future Box →
Compact Modules 7TE 7TE slide-in module High-density centres, scalable fit-out in 4U carrier systems View Compact Modules →
4U Carrier System Modular 19″ chassis Hosts up to 12 Compact Modules — up to 144 fibres in 4U View Carrier System →

The Common Foundation: DIAMOND E-2000® CompactRJ

Every splice-box family uses the DIAMOND E-2000® CompactRJ coupling system as its connector core. The system delivers:

  • Connector design: Push-pull latch with spring-loaded shutter — automatic laser safety on disconnect, end-face protected against dust
  • Ferrule: Zirconia with titanium insert, 2.5 mm standard diameter
  • Active Core Alignment (ACA): Patented micro-alignment of the fibre core during assembly — typical insertion loss ≤ 0.1 dB
  • Configurations: Singlemode PC (blue), Singlemode APC (green, 8° polish), Multimode (OM3, OM4, 62.5 μm in standard colour codes)
  • Optional: IP65-protected variants for outdoor and industrial applications, on request

The result: a consistent connector experience across every form factor, full intermateability between families, and a single training/spare-parts profile across your fibre infrastructure.

Quality Assurance: Test Certificate for Every Pigtail

Every pigtail shipped from the DIAMOND production goes through individual measurement — not sample inspection. The test certificate documents:

  • Connector end-face quality (visual and interferometric)
  • Tilt angle (maximum ≤ 0.4°)
  • Concentricity (maximum 0.25 μm)
  • Final inspection “passed” as binding release criterion

Each certificate is accessible via QR code on the component or through shop.diamond.de. This individual traceability is critical for public-sector tenders, regulated industries (railway, energy, healthcare) and quality-managed network operators.

Fiber Products as the Central DACH Supplier

Fiber Products GmbH is the authorised production partner of DIAMOND SA. Our role has two dimensions:

Own manufacturing with DIAMOND components: We produce modular splice systems (1U splice boxes, 3U/4U ODF systems, DIN-rail boxes) in our German facility, populated with DIAMOND E-2000 CompactRJ couplings. This combines Swiss precision connectors with German manufacturing logistics — 5-year manufacturer warranty included.

Authorised distribution of DIAMOND originals: The complete Fusion Box, Future Box, Compact Module, Wall Distribution, Carrier System and E-2000 connector range — with fast DACH delivery and expert advice on the right form factor for your specific use case.

How to Choose the Right Family

A short selection guide based on the typical installation challenge:

  • If you need a fixed rack installation with high port density and low maintenance — start with Fusion Box (rigid 1U)
  • If you need rack installation but want sliding service access — Future Box (1U or 2U)
  • If you need scalable density in a single chassis — 4U Carrier System with up to 12 Compact Modules
  • If you need DIN-rail mounting in switching cabinets or outdoor — Wall Distribution Modules
  • If you have a custom requirement — F4P-manufactured solutions with DIAMOND components, built to your specification
