19″ Subrack Configurator – 3U/1U with 7TE Modules
Load your 19″ subrack (3U or 1U) live in 3D: every 7TE slot can be fitted individually with splice or front modules – with LC, SC, E-2000 or ST adapters. In parallel, the configurator builds the bill of materials with real part numbers, unit prices and the total for your enquiry.

The modular F4P system
The subrack is the backbone of the modular F4P system: a 19″ carrier that accepts standardised 7TE modules. The 3U subrack holds 12 modules (up to 288 fibres fully loaded), the flat 1U subrack three modules. Unused slots are closed with blanking plates. The advantage: you build only what you need today – and expand slot by slot later without replacing the carrier.
Splice module (SM) or front module (FM)?
Splice modules (SM) are complete plug-in units with adapters, splice tray and pigtails – the incoming cable is spliced directly inside the module. Front modules (FM) provide only the adapter front, e.g. as a patch panel for pre-terminated cables or as a pass-through distributor. In the configurator you choose the type per slot – mixed within the same carrier if you like.

Frequently asked questions
Can I combine different adapters in the same carrier?
Yes. Every 7TE slot is fitted individually – for instance LC splice modules for the backbone fibres and E-2000 front modules for carrier handovers in the same 3U carrier. The configurator merges all modules into one bill of materials.
What happens to empty slots?
Unused slots are closed with blanking plates (BP 3HE7TE or the 1U equivalent) – the configurator adds them to the bill of materials automatically, keeping the carrier dust-protected and visually closed.
Is the subrack delivered pre-assembled?
On request, yes: send us your configuration via “Request this configuration” – we check feasibility, price and delivery time and can deliver the subrack splice-ready if desired.
