VarioConnect 1U splice boxes are specifically designed for extreme vibration loads. They offer DIAMOND E2000 connectors that do not loosen due to movement, modular 7TE architecture for up to 72 fibers, and extendable splice boxes for maintenance during operation.
DIAMOND E2000 connectors are vibration-resistant and have the best property that contacts do not loosen. They offer integrated laser protection through a flap that prevents laser exposure, and dust protection through a protective cap on the pigtail.
Our wind power custom designs have precise cable routing from the rear with 90°, 45° and 30° angles. This enables optimal adaptation to ring topology cabling between wind turbines without lateral interference with the extendable mechanics.
1U splice boxes can accommodate up to 96 fibers (fixed) or up to 72 fibers (modular). Various combinations can be realized through modular 7TE architecture: 3×24 fibers with modular design. Expansion is done through extendable splice boxes.
For larger capacities, we offer 3U/4U systems with up to 288 fibers.
From the initial request to delivery, it typically takes 2-4 weeks. Standard configurations can often be realized faster. We first create detailed construction drawings for coordination before manufacturing begins.
Yes, our 7TE modules are standardized and fit into all common 19″ racks and subracks. The front modules can accommodate various connector types (DIAMOND E2000, LC, SC, MTP) and are compatible with existing infrastructures.
Our wind power splice boxes are vibration-resistant, dust-protected and have integrated laser protection. DIAMOND E2000 connectors with Swiss precision guarantee extreme reliability. On request, we can also supply our splice boxes with aluminum housings for corrosion protection.
The drawer can be completely removed using the extendable splice boxes. Splice cassettes and pigtails are easily accessible for maintenance purposes. The DIAMOND E2000 connectors prevent accidental disconnection due to pull-proof design.
